The existentialist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre is perhaps best-known for his play No Exit, and it’s most famous line: “Hell is other people.” It turns out his Hell was more accurate than he could have ever imagined when, after his death, Sartre finds himself trapped in a room with his longtime partner, Simone de Beauvoir; his one-time contemporary, Albert Camus; and the woman who was a lover to all of them, Wanda Kosakiewicz.
